Congratulations to all my Mirabelli Trainees at yesterday’s NJ Meet of Champions!
Isabella Frattura threw an incredible 150’3” bomb on her final throw in the finals! Isabella is now a 2-time MOC Champion and will compete at Nationals in two weeks before heading off to Liberty University.
Another standout: Edison HS Junior Landen Cruz threw a personal best of 198’8” on his first throw, earning the Gold! Landen trained with me for just 3 sessions, improving from 163’0” to 198’8” — an amazing accomplishment.
Also placing in the javelin finals were Burlington Twp.’s Anthony Barber (175’7”) and Dylan Fitzpatrick (175’5”). Earlier, Dylan won the Group championship with a throw of 188’10”.
In the discus, Henry Struble captured the Group 1 title with a winning throw of 165’5”!
I’ll be posting many more highlights from the Mark Mirabelli Throwing School this week. Hard work always prevails!
