Updated Personal Testimonials:

Dear Mark,

Just wanted to say thank you, in writing, for all the time and effort you have put into coaching Josh. His progress in the javelin and the discus has been fantastic - from being stuck in the 130-145 range as a sophomore, to consistently throwing the javelin in the 180 range during his junior year. Since you started working with him in the discus, after just a few sessions, he went from 124 to 149 with some practice throws over 150. The highlight of his junior year was not only improving in the javelin to the level of qualifying to compete at the Nike Outdoor Nationals, but then throwing a javelin PR of 187'9" and placing 8th! Without a doubt, your coaching is helping him to get closer to his goal of competing for a collegiate track and field program.

Thank you for always being positive and encouraging, and for sharing your knowledge of throwing technique with such enthusiasm. We look forward to our next training session and especially to Josh's senior year of competition.

Dear Coach Mirabelli,

I'd like to personally thank you for the quick yet highely helpful session you mentored me through with the javelin. From what you showed me, I now understand what dedication and relentless practice it takes to prosper in such an event. From the basic training you gave me I imporved my throw by about 20 feet and thats a great jump for me. However I have set my goals even higher now and I wish to reach them. I'am confident with the help you gave me, and further help you will give me that I will reach that goal with haste.

Thanks for everything!
Taylor

Coach Mark,

Just wanted to thank you again for this past weekend. Driving six and a half hours from Moyock, NC. for your training with my daughter was worth every mile! You have given her much more confidence in throwing the javelin. The quality time you spent with her has already made a difference. Your developmental approach to coaching was easy for her to learn in a short period of time. Your positive attitude and patience with her was much appreciated. It is also nice to know we can stay in touch by email with any questions we may have. Thanks again, your enthusiastic personality is great!

Dominick threw 170 -9 yesterday at his conference championships. This was done on a less than ideal runway due to the prior days rains and was thrown about 5 feet from the foul line. So to say the least Dom was very happy. His other throws where all PR's which also is nice to see consistency. I just would like to say thank you for getting Dom to this point. When Dom started with you he was an average 130's thrower who once and a while would get a 150. Because of your coaching he now has excellent form and has a great base to continue to improve. Dom is looking forward to the counties, sections, group and meet of champs with the expectation to compete with the best of the best. Again thank you for your interest and encouragement you have shown to Dom's journey to become an elite thrower some day. Updated threw his personal best at the MOC 177' 6"...

Personal Testimonial: I was throwing around 160' during my junior and senior years. I had a personal best of 165' towards the end of my senior year a few weeks ago I realized I needed some help with my approach, so my friend Kyle Elliot recommended coach Mirabelli to me. After one session with Mr. Mirabelli threw 191', and I'm now consistanty throwing close to that distance. thanks Coach Mirabelli... I will be back!

Personal Testimonial: What's the value of a single Mirabelli session for a coach or an athlete? Well, I have been coaching my son Sam since he caught the throwing bug in eight grade, Sam is now a Freshman at East Brunswick HS in NJ. and has gone from throwing 137' with the 1K discus last year, to throwing over 153 with the 1.6K after folowing Mark's methods religiously. As a former thrower and coach myself, I know what to look for and how to tweak my son's maturing skills. However, after spending one session with Mark, I was able pick up critical insight on how to nurture my son's abilities and my son was able to hear from one of the best in the game on how to coach himself in the circle. In rain or shine, snow and cold, Sam has spent countless hours using Mark's techniques over the 2008/2009 winter and it has borne early fruit. After throwing over 153 in just his first meet of the 2009 season, we are adjusting our goals upwards. Recession or no recession, a few sessions with Mark is an invaluable investment for any thrower's improvement. Mark, thanks for your support and we'll see you soon.

Regards,
Marlon and Sam Mattis

Clinic Testimonials: Mark Mirabelli's Track and Field Clinic is the best opportunity for local track athletes to gain valuable training tips on their favorite events. Throwers can learn from world class clinicians about not only technique but the mindset to throw farther. Runners and jumpers are given ample opportunity to hone their respective skills as well. Mark's 2009 clinic was smoothly run and well attended. We made new friends and had a great time. The world class athletes were very giving of their time and offered individual attention when asked. As a parent I really can't ask for more.
