Brian Cortina (1987)- Brian was a high school shot-put All American placing 3rd at the Nike Indoor Nationals with a mark of 62 feet 2 inches. His freshman year of college he attended the University of Miami, FL on a Track and Field Scholarship before transferring to Cornell University. During his sophomore year at Cornell he broke the discus record with a mark of 171 feet 2 inches. In the past 6 years Brian has competed in track and field, football, basketball, and soccer seriously pursuing track and field at the collegiate level. He now works with the SOURCE Institute for Human Performance providing nutritional counseling, flexibility improvement, injury prevention, and other aspects pertaining to strength and conditioning. While the SOURCE Institute for Human Performance offers coaching and assistance to athletes in all sports,
